Privacy-first by design

The core privacy rule is simple: RookImg never stores your images after processing.

No permanent storage

RookImg processes images on secure servers to power its tools, and deletes them immediately after processing. Files are never stored, sold or shared.

Server-side processing

Image operations run on secure servers using libraries like Sharp and Tesseract. Files are processed in memory and are not written to persistent storage.

Authentication data

Google login through our authentication provider may store account identifiers required for authentication. It is separate from any image content.

Advertising & cookies

RookImg may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com). We also show a consent banner on your first visit so you can accept or decline non-essential analytics and advertising cookies.

User control

Closing the tab, clearing browser data or deleting downloaded files remains under the user's device controls.
